delayed exactly 6 days but that's not even a problem here - it's a FIRE HAZARD. This morning it exploded with a loud hiss, spattering hot oil all over my wife's feet, the carpet, the walls, my bed. Our 1.5 month old daughter who sleeps in her cot in our bedroom slept in the room and luckily my wife was awake to pull the cord, open the windows and get our daughter out of the room. a mist of hot oil that she soon washed away with water. Her first reaction was to unplug and lead our daughter out of the room. The oil was hot, but didn't seem hot enough to burn the skin. I took the unit out of the house and spent the next hour cleaning up the oil that had soaked into our carpet and various surfaces. The whole house stinks of a terrible smell of oil. I think we need to rip out the carpet to get rid of the smell. The only positive thing I can think of is that luckily the leaking oil didn't catch fire. Terrible scary experience. I'll be contacting the company to see what they have to say, but I felt the need to write this review to warn others. DO NOT BUY THIS.
