Updated: For the record, this is a well-made knife despite being made in Italy. As soon as I unpacked this knife, I was enthusiastic about it. And it's a good knife *if* you don't mind those issues. First, it's a backup disk. I love the early locking, but that locking bar barely touches the blade, and I'm not kidding. It's about 5% blocking, if any. It's easy to have a knife on your side. So the rating went down. Also pocket clip design. Everything about the video is perfect except for one moment. There are holes in the clip (for getting a knife out of your pocket or just looking cool), and the holes are wide enough that you don't have to press hard to break the clip. This is the weak point of the video. Everything else is great. It is wear-resistant and the screws are flush mounted. Also, the blade is off-center. Another failure. It's not drastic, but if my $20 Rat II or Utilitac II has perfect blade centering, I expect more from a $100 discount. It's a shame because I really like MSF. Everything else is great, especially the blade. Sharp as a razor. I can't ignore the deadbolt lock issue no matter how I look at it. The clip and off-center blade might not matter much, but things are multiplying enough that I won't own them anymore. This is a knife that I would like to see in person before buying. Tops makes amazing blades. But it was designed by Tops and made in Italy. For me this is not a real tops. It still has some good stuff in it but unfortunately I have to return it due to issues I had.
