When I first received this backpack I liked it. The fabric seemed durable. My dog has enough space to feel comfortable. It (barely) fits under the seats on Delta aircraft. It filled the need. My 8 lb dog and I have used it twice for air travel. When we received the backpack after landing on our last flight, part of the backpack strap came loose from the backpack. My dog is only 8 pounds and this backpack can easily support his weight. This can only be explained by weak strength, and it is no longer safe to carry it on your back without repair. Not worth $40.
