I have 600W of fluorescent lighting that the kids leave on occasionally for hours at a time in our basement. After installing a Lutron MS-OP600M-LA in my kitchen (which I also love), I tried this. I should have ordered the vacancy version for that one because only use it that way.I would order 15 more of these if they were more affordable. At 28 bucks, it will take 460 hours of folks each forgetting to turn off the lights to pay it back. That's probably a 5 year payback for me. If you have less than 600W load, it may not pay back. But we are trying to reduce our energy usage, and this fits the bill.
