Assembly was a pain. They provided 1 extra piece of hardware and I needed it. One screw arrived already broken. A lag screw was not properly tightened, causing the screw to get stuck inside before it could be fully tightened. This eventually caused the screw to work loose and the wood to crack when I tried to pull it out. I ended up sawing off the screw (what a pain). Also, one of the screw anchors has snapped off, leaving one screw in place for show (rather than really holding the pieces together). I had to use a lot of wood glue to hold this together. Set up was supposed to take 10 minutes, ended up taking 1 hour. It looks beautiful and holds our shoes perfectly. I think that's what I needed it for, I just feel a little cheated knowing the quality isn't very good.
