I liked how comfortable they are and agreed that sooner or later the flimsy plastic on the side of the screen in the volume control area would eventually crack. However, I had a second damage to my phone when it was dropped from no more than 3ft and now I'm moving on. As you can see from the product photos, they leave too much front glass exposed, especially in the corners. The screen protector doesn't help much as it was attached in both cases. In the first instance, the phone caught on my seat belt as I was getting out of the car and fell off my knees while sitting on the concrete garage floor. Both corners of the glass were damaged. In the most recent incident, the phone fell no more than three feet into my driveway. Even with a protective film on the screen, you can see the damage in the picture. The best solution would of course be "STOP BIRTHING MY PHONE"! I think in an ideal world I would have done that, but unfortunately this has already happened twice in three years. However, I'm not giving up the Encased brand entirely. For my new phone, I'll go with their Rebel series, which may look a bit bulkier, but looks a lot more effective at protecting the phone itself.
