Devices work as expected. I ordered this unit to replace a disc drive on an Xbox 360. I had to open a new drive, desolder the board and disconnect the cables. Take the old motherboard out of the failed drive and put it in the new case and mechanics. So the new hardware contains the same TPM key. Everything worked, and after that it was possible to play games. Be sure to use the same drive model as the failed drive when making such a replacement.
