Standard for All My Reviews: When I review products, I always remain objective and honest about a product or service. I always verify information that I think others would like to know about a product, as I always assume what I write will influence or discourage a purchase. I always try to go beyond surface properties and add quality, value and application. Most importantly, I always end a review with an answer as to whether I would buy the product again, which I think is the most important question about this product. I didn't leave a review right away as I wanted to see how it performed for a few months before leaving my review. Many extension cords seem to work fine for a few weeks and then, for whatever reason, fail. etc. In the end I decided to try the TP-Link AC-2600 and hell am I glad I did. My newest power strip just wasn't enough in our 2,850 m². ft. My router is in the far north of the house in our bonus room and the downstairs signal was very poor. In fact, my old power strip had to be placed so close to the router that I didn't get much extension. If I kept moving it, it lost signal or just had a weak signal. This TP-Link was placed at the bottom of the stairs in the foyer and now I'm getting full signal in all rooms including cameras outside the house in three locations. There is nothing better than this device. Setup was easy, you didn't have to worry about the secondary network as it just extends the main network. The indicator lights are clearly visible from a distance and the functionality works without any problems or headaches. If you're struggling to extend your WiFi into the lower reaches of your home, try this TP-Link AC2600. It took an awkward situation and turned it into a problem. Big fan of this device!
