Review on Zoeller 105-0001 Sump Pump: Efficient Water Removal, Compact Design, Lightweight by Brett Kolpack

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Damned monster. Vause!

Installed for my washing machine as Flotec pumps couldn't last more than a month or two. The thing doesn't make a bang, but it's too big for a laundry tub. I assume the float switch will wear out quickly as it operates in short pulses since it's too big. I don't care, however, as all the other pumps I've spent time and money on couldn't handle a piece of lint without binding. Replacement switches are also cheap and easy to replace. This is an American monster, I love it. Has been running for several months now with no problems, which is way longer than anything else. The only thing to consider instead of a washtub is the Shellback brand pump, which is family owned and made right in Michigan. It attaches directly to the bottom of the tub so all the extra work I did with the PVC pipes could have been avoided.

Pros
  • Still happy
Cons
  • Big and bulky
