This item is a death trap. I bought it with the intention of using it for my racing kart. The weldable hex nut is within specs, but the hub is a different story. The very first time I used it I was racing and the handlebars came loose. I chalked it up, maybe I pushed the button. So I went back and tried again, this time it happens when I'm going around a corner at 40mph and hit a 4ft cone. Fortunately, if other drivers were near me or others could be seriously injured or killed, I was able to turn off the engine. Find out if your product is defective because the spring tension is not enough to keep the holder in place and the holder is too small. If I were this company I would destroy all remaining equipment and give money back to whoever bought it before filing a class action lawsuit alleging someone was injured or killed.
