Review on HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 2 wireless headphones, mother of pearl blue by Athit Nivongsa ᠌

Not all that bad, but there are minuses.

Guys, having used this miracle, I decided to write a review in order to warn you and give food for thought. I had 1st generation freebuds pro headphones for 2 years and they more than suited me. They had great sound, good microphones, excellent autonomy, fast connection, stable connection and blah blah. In general, everything you need. Unfortunately, six months ago, I accidentally dropped the left earpiece from the case and it began to rattle in noise reduction mode. For this reason, I was really looking forward to just the announced 2nd generation headphones. And finally, after receiving them, only the word "disappointment" comes to mind. Headphones have not changed for the better not a single gram. These are all the same freebuds of the first generation, BUT with the most terrible ear pads, as if they cost 500. They are thin, do not create an isolation effect at all and turn inside out every time they pull them out of their ears. But if in the first generation it was possible to easily connect any other ear pads, then they thought of making a worthless proprietary connector to which no ear pads from other headphones can be connected. This is a huge failure. My advice is if you own 1st gen headphones don't upgrade, the sound is about the same and the UX is much worse. If you are looking closely at the belly button of this miracle, it is better to take the 1st generation - you will say thank you very much!

Pros
  • Compared to 1st generation, no
Cons
  • The design of the connectors on the ear pads. "revolutionary hi-res sound" - lossless music with ldac codec sounds MUCH worse than with AAC Discharge faster than previous
