What I like most about this light is that it is compact and contains everything you need, unlike other lights that have less aesthetic details that come from the back or top protrude. I've had it for almost 3 months now and it's working great so far. My bearded dragon loves to lie under or on his rocks which have a heat mat underneath. The body heats up when touched. I wouldn't say it's heated, but it definitely is. I'd suggest just making sure it's just touching the top of your terrarium and nothing that the heat might affect. Definitely recommended for the excellent design and functionality.
