changed cartridges in 3 different bathrooms/showers in our 25 year old house. A few minor leaks have been fixed and all of our faucets are working incredibly well. Small suggestion: if you are trying to remove an old cartridge (I mean OLD) and it appears to be cemented due to calcification, use a smaller flathead screwdriver to pry the small black tab at the top. Ours must never have been changed by previous owners and they have been GOOD there. We tried everything, vinegar for hours (even days), dragging in every direction with a few tools, but the screwdriver squeezing out that top edge worked like a charm and didn't feel like it was damaging the plumbing. like twitch had potential.
