is a pretty good product. I wanted to come here to make a first impression and describe some of the details that you won't see in Revain. I think Revain's "listings" for most of the products they sell contain misleading information, missing information, and lots of embellished product graphics that don't paint the true picture. This holder is quite compact. If you choose the right louver on the ventilation grille after installation, you will have a strong bracket after tightening the hook. The hook is metal, which is good, it won't break (from extreme cold or heat) and provides a secure installation. I don't use magsafe for charging myself, I haven't tested the phone directly on the holder without the case. However, the mount has a smooth, soft matte finish and is designed to make contact with the phone's glass without damaging it. I was surprised to find a thin disc with a magnet in the box. It is black faux leather with an adhesive side. You can stick it on your phone case where the magsafe will be on the phone or you can stick it where you want to customize how the phone is held on the mount when not using magsafe. The disc is quite thin and fits well with the back of the case, such as. B. the black Otterbox Defender. This is the route I chose for the iPhone 13 Pro + Otterbox case. As you can imagine the phone is quite heavy and with a case it's even heavier. The magnetic force (when the disc is in place) is neither too strong nor too weak. Sometimes I feel like it might slip off the mount and fall off while driving, but so far it hasn't happened, which is good. The magnet on the mount was strong enough to keep the phone from rotating. and in my specific case, with the Otterbox protective case, pulling the phone towards me to remove it from the holder will also slightly pull the soft outer shell of the TPU case (confirming that the magnetic strength is good) . but I prefer a little more magnetic attraction to feel safer when driving. While driving, it's not so great if the cell phone falls out of the holder or is connected to the mains by pulling on the charging cable or hanging from it. I'd recommend finding a Magsafe-style halo ring that's designed for this purpose and attaches to either the back of the phone case or the phone itself if you want a little extra panache. If you're planning on using a discless mount or halo ring when you have a Magsafe case, this should work without any issues. However, if you don't have a Magsafe case (no magnets inside the case) then this mount won't work for you.
