Review on Foldable Superjare Breakfast Portable Lightweight by Peter Bates

Bent frame/hinges when first opened

I read a previous review that pretty much described what I ended up experiencing. I was of the opinion at the time that every company had defective products here and there. Given the generally positive reviews, what are the chances I'll get one? Or maybe it was user error? Today I finally had the opportunity to try this spreadsheet. First impressions were that it was lighter and cheaper than I expected. It's okay though - I don't put 50 pound books on it and it's not that expensive. It looks good. I like that the table can be folded in half. Outstanding form factor; easy to carry when i travel. As long as you like it; Let's open it up and see how it feels. There is a slight resistance when opening. I remember the manufacturer responding to someone's comment that it's only difficult to unfold the first few times. Apply a little more pressure, although nothing improper - open it slightly. I can feel the frame starting to sag. I have to back down even if it's only half open. Let's put it back together and see what happens. no Can not. The hinges bind and the parts bend. At that point, just 50 seconds after opening the box, I knew it had to come back. It was already compromised, so I forced it back into the closed position so it could be put back in the box. On paper this is a great product. Unfortunately, my example wasn't robust enough to deploy even once. Others should have good blocks that can be used without bending; but I [and at least a few other people] weren't so lucky. To potential buyers: my advice: it's a gamble. Personally, I've spent so much of my life dabbling with cheap "straight from China" products that I'm considering trying something from a more trusted brand rather than playing into a replacement again.
