Because I live in Hawaii, I am always on the lookout for dresses that I can wear year long in the heat and humidity, thus the reason I purchase three dresses - although Ebay recommended a large, bought the XL.I'm happy that I did. They are VERY comfortable!. Though there is some stretch to the fabric for ease of movement, they do not stretch out (in other words, they keep their shape.) And I should add.the colors are true to what are depicted - a huge win!
