These locks are better than the locks sold in regular stores. I travel abroad a lot and want to know when security is checking my bag. These locks will give you a notification when a TSA key has been used to open the lock as the small red button at the top of the lock will be lifted. With regular TSA locks, when an agent picks the lock, they don't lock it back, and the lock either hangs on the unlocked luggage or is lost. With these locks, the TSA must lock again to get their master key out of the lock. I used them for the first time last week, two checked bags from San Francisco to Taipei and Manila and they have worked great. I could see one lock being unlocked by TSA and then relocked. I would recommend these castles to anyone traveling. I paid full price for these locks and this is a genuine review from a genuine buyer.
