later This phone has many nice features and is easy to use and program. Requires AC power to operate but has battery backup in the event of a power failure. It uses FIVE AAA batteries, which seems like a lot. Batteries don't work. The only issue I had with this phone is that it doesn't work with the built in call blocker that I have. I have a mechanical call blocker that connects between the phone line and the phone, but when this device is plugged in the phone doesn't work. It doesn't even need to be connected to that phone; Put it anywhere on the line and the phone will turn off. Unfortunately, the phone itself doesn't have call blocking, which is very bad. Since it's being sold as a work phone, it must have call barring.
