Too loose - just falls off

This is not for a 3/8 inch thick .375 inch thick door. It measures 0.384 inches at the narrow end and 0.483 inches at the wide end at the base of the U channel. Suitable for door 7/16. I also bought a matching Eatelle H post side seal for a 3/8 door and it fits perfectly. It takes effort to put on and it stays in place so they know what size it needs to be. I will send back the bottom seal and buy the matching one.
