Review on Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Fixed Lens - Discontinued by Manufacturer by Damien Sg ᠌

Not my best purchase, could have found something else.

So I'm ripe for a review, what can I say, I regretted buying it, it's not for me. During the next photo session with a child on the street, I had to periodically put on whale lenses - 50 is a lot for shooting a large picture in the vicinity, periodically I had to move ten, fifteen meters away to shoot, for example, a child on a BTER or near a gun, otherwise not everything is included. At a strong distance, the lens begins to soap, quality is lost. This lens is purely portrait and macro-came up, photographed a stationary target in the vicinity and moved on. I shot during the day mainly at apertures of 4-8,5 so that there would be fewer misses, I wonder why then I need aperture, you can’t really shoot indoors, the dimensions of the room are not enough, but with a dark whale . I have an external flash. So whoever thinks about a fix in the future, first think for what purposes you need it, whether it is worth spending money. As a staff member, in my opinion, he is not very good, it is better to save up and buy at least a universal 17-85 lens. I’m shooting a Canon 600D 18-55 and 55-250, I’m very pleased, I bought a fix to feel the difference between it and the whale ones (it was painfully praised here) - I felt the difference only from 18-55 and then a small one. Yes . he already had dust inside from the very beginning, he didn’t notice in the store, it was a bit dark, he saw it at home.

Pros
  • Aperture
Cons
  • plastic case, no stub, price.
