Two year update. He's still going strong with three cats and two kids. Part of the rope came loose, but that was to be expected. The level 3 crate broke during the move but is otherwise intact. The current price of $83 is a bit high. I would consider buying a new one for 50 to 60 euros. I happened to find it on sale for $35 and realized what the heck. I've wanted to buy something like this for my cats for a long time but was hesitant to spend a lot of money on it because of all the negative reviews I've seen. My main concerns were stability and an indication that they were intended for smaller cats. I have three medium sized cats and I didn't have much hope for them. Dispatch and Assembly: After ordering I was given an estimated delivery date of 3-5 WEEKS, although it will be two days prime delivery after dispatch. This confused me at first, but that was probably due to demand as the price was very low. That's cool. Delivery ended about two weeks after ordering, so I was pleasantly surprised. My wife assembled it while I was at work and she had no trouble with the process. We found that we had to cut off one of the bolts holding the house down a bit so it didn't stick out that much. Even with two small children, the installation took about twenty minutes. Quality: The rope is good enough to last a while. The scratching posts will most likely need to be replaced, but that's to be expected if you have aggressive animals in your home. Better that cheap cord than your couch, right? This is not a carpet but a thinner and smoother material. Looks strong enough and has no flaws. Our cats love this thing and play with it all night which sucks because we like to sleep.
