This was my second order for a cold air intake cover as living in Washington some sort of permeation is a must so I have the cheaper Water Guard first tried this did a very poor job on my sink which was returned immediately. But this Ingen passes the shell test before they put it on my car, it fits pretty well but they have no chance of falling off. Now I feel better knowing my car isn't picking up a ton of water every time I drive through a puddle. I recommend. However, remember that this is not a "waterproof" coating, it simply repels water.
