Edit : I later learned that this can be dangerous to use with some cheaper or older Power Supply Units (PSUs), see my comments on this review below. If your PSU is new, you most likely already have cables to power two GPUs. Check if your power supply comes with 6-2 pin connectors or 8 pin connectors (they have two extra pins not used in all GPUs). Feel free to comment your PSU and GPU names and I'll help you find the right cable. I used them to better manage the LP4 performance requirements of two EVGA GeForce GTX 970 Superclocked ACX 2.0 4GB graphics cards (for SLI). Graphics cards require EVERY FOUR LP4 power connectors! so a total of 8. YES 8! I ordered four of these and they halved the requirements so I only had to use ONE LP4 power cable (1 Corsair PSU power cable with 4 LP4 connectors) and they worked great. The cables that came with the cards (black in the picture) only had three pins, and they had four pins. But they work exactly as I had hoped! The photos below are my new PC build. I plan to wrap these cables soon. My parts list for new builds made with the PC parts picker: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Egyptian/saved/XQcBD3
