I'm a spam lover (e.g. meat) and I love that I can cut a whole can in one operation and the same Thickness of slices for frying or baking have consistency. However, the product I found requires the cutting to be done slowly (patiently) to avoid potentially damaging the wires - yes, this is true even for a product as soft as SPAM. I have not used it for any other meats, cheeses etc. So far so good, and I hope it will continue to work (and last) as well for a long time to come. I am satisfied with the quality, performance and durability, even if I think it needs gentle and loving care.
