Review on Dell SE2719H: Backlit 1080p Monitor with Tilt, Blue Light Filter, and Anti-Glare HD Display by Ryan Thorson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Compromise upon compromise.

So this is a very affordable monitor for workstations. It doesn't even have VESA mounts to save a few bucks, the refresh rate isn't great for gaming, but when I bought this I thought at least 1) they would rotate and 2) they would at least match the colors of the box. NO 1) I can understand it, it's ok, not perfect but ok 2) it's really frustrating. One is clearly much, much yellower than the other. However they are really bright and sharp and don't have any dead pixels or connectivity issues so they still meet my needs but the color really prevents it from being a 5 star device. I probably should have just bought an Acer for a few bucks. I've been messing around with the color settings and getting them close (2nd photo and again this isn't a pantone monitor or even close and I know it) but it still doesn't match and is driving me crazy. There are also some good comments. about the text pixelation as it's such a large relatively low res area and I definitely notice it doesn't bother me too much as my eyesight isn't great lol but if pixelation bothers you then you probably want something with lower or higher resolution.
