I have to fold over the waist to keep the legs off the ground (I'm 5'9" 5'10"ish). Quite a disappointment I'm afraid, as I teach moving meditation and it's essential to not trip over myself in front of students. Let me tell you about folding the waist over. It works, but it's not comfortable. The uncomfortable part is pocket access. When the waist folds over it blocks access to the pockets. You may be wondering what martial arts movements I am doing with my hands in my pocket and the answer is none. Just making note of that awkward feature of these pantaloons. If I hike the waist way up after folding it over, I can keep the bottoms of the legs off the floor. I just look like URKEL. Which I guess isn't the worst, I'm a nerd too. In that position, the waist wraps around my tummy which kind of makes it a compression/shaping garment. I'm fit so I don't really need that feature, but if you were looking to "suck it in" these panties can do the trick.
