Review on 🚚 CURT 53540 Trailer Light Kit Replacement - Combo Lamps, Side Markers, Wiring by German Diaz

I wanted a higher quality wiring harness than the $20 kits at Walmart as I've had issues with cheap kits in the past where the wires have frayed and the bulb sockets have corroded. I wasn't sure if this kit would cost 2-3 times as much but I decided to give it a try. I think it is; I am happy with the purchase. The connector is better made and better match Curt car wiring. The light bodies have built-in wire connectors, so there are no exposed wire nuts, which is a nice touch. The kit also includes a set of tabs to secure the cable to the trailer frame to prevent chafing, rattling, etc. If these little things don't bother you, the kit probably isn't worth the extra money. But if you're looking for a decent quality cable set, this is a good option. As a bonus Kurt has a step by step video on how to install this particular kit which can be extremely helpful for beginners.
