Review on Grandstream GS GXV3500 Video Encoder Decoder by Scoony Taker

Does what I wanted - converted an NTSC camera to an IP camera

I'm not sure what a person was talking about when they looked complained about it The product only works with Grandstream products. I am using this with a Gadspot NTSC camera to make it an IP camera. I use Blue Iris surveillance software to capture camera images via a video encoder. As such, it works with both third-party cameras and third-party surveillance software. Everything works very well. I've only been testing for a few days and have noticed that the video update on the server sometimes gets garbled or slow. I can't tell whose fault it is. Either a problem with the camera or with the video encoder. But that's not a problem for me. At least not yet.

Pros
  • Enhanced H.264 real-time multistreaming, Motion JPEG at D1 resolution
Cons
  • Something else
