Please note that this is NOT a precision gauge. I used it to see how far I could throw the disc without pulling out a long tape measure. After each REVOLUTION of the wheel, the damper will turn off the counter for another measurement in feet. So you don't get any "intermediate" inches. They go from 1 foot to 2 feet, 3 feet, etc. For general and baseball readings, which is what I want, that's fine. In fact, this system can be better than those that measure every inch along the way because the plastic teeth of these measuring tools wear out quickly and the whole block becomes scrap. Reversing the reading on each foot significantly reduces the strain on the meter.
