Package came sealed but zip tie holding everything together was cut and still in the box, no instructions or plastic wrapping or anything. Just the ripped paper containing a QR code. Hard small wheel so works very well for solid/flat surfaces. Measures in ft/in so works well for roundabout measurements in USA standard, not so much of you need more specific measurements or meters. I use this to measure my lawn that I normally cut at least 4". It sometimes struggles to roll (small wheels) therefore screwing up the measurement. I'm still able to get the measurement though, but may take a couple of tries to get (the measurement) right. I don't see any problem for flat surfaces or lower (cut) grasses.

The measuring wheel does what it should. I was a bit concerned that the small diameter wheel would have trouble in grass or on gravel, but it's worked well so far. The collapsing handle and compact size make it easy to stow on the side strap of my computer backpack when I am on a work site to do a quote. The advertised tape measure was not included, but I e-mailed Scuddles USA, and they immediately sent one out separately, with no additional shipping charges - great customer support.

I ordered this so that I could measure for landscaping curbing, something a traditional tape measure can not do. It is only a 3.75" wheel so going over rocky terrain was a bit challenging. Over grass, topsoil concrete, and wood this is perfect for the job. Super easy to use.

Buy this only if you A) are only using it on floors or pavement, B) don’t mind bending over while walking due to the short handle, and C) don’t mind stopping every 5 feet to continually tighten the telescoping handle brakes and reposition the measuring wheel to point straight.Too late to return this, so it’s going to Goodwill and I’ll pay more money for one that is actually usable. File this one under "buyer’s remorse.”

This rolling measurer is lightweight and easy to read. Just make sure you put the wheel on exactly the point where your measure starts. Not possible to do when backing up to a wall.

Stock up on batteries and keep them with you! I use a wheel all day every day to do property surveys for insurance companies. This wheel (unlike every other digital one I've owned) does not have auto shut-off. This means if I don't remember to shut it off after every case, it's on most of the day. Does the job for a small compact wheel reader. However, its lightweight deign leads it to bounce around over rough terrain leading to possible inaccurate measurements. Overall, pleased with the product for the price!

I like that the handle collapses so it stores easily in my car. I gave it 4 stars bc the wheel measured about 3-4 inches long when measured against a tape measure set at10ft. I use the wheel during home health physical therapy visits to measure walking distances of my pts.

From the moment we started using the device only about half the time it would work. The wheel would turn, but the distance indicator would remain on 00000. Only after hitting the reset many times would it eventually increment the reading. This is NOT a good product!

Got it today, measured my property, was 146.2 feet long, then rolled the thing backwards back to the starting point and was at 0.0 to 0.3 feet if wheel was within 1inch of exact starting point, so very repeatable. Measured again and got 146.2 feet again. Was pleased. Can move fast with it too, and still get the same measurement. This measuring wheel is easy to use and read. Nice contoured handle makes it comfortable to grip. The large wheel moves over bumps on the ground without getting caught or jumping which can cause inaccurate readings. The telescoping shaft makes it compact so it can fit into the trunk or under a seat without taking up too much space.
