Not entirely sure if this helped me. I had a problem with cloudy water/algae in my water feature/fish pond and tried everything - this stuff, barley balls, algaecide etc and nothing seemed to work. I ended up fitting a UV clarifier into my pump/filter system and it fixed the problem in a day or two. All of these chemicals cost a lot more than the goldfish I keep ($0.30 each), so it's a little frustrating that they don't seem to be very effective.
