I find that Colton's Cedar Spray smells the best - most reminiscent of cedar - and not overpowering or fake. That's the real deal. I've used it in my toilets for years to repel moths and insects and it has done its job well. I use cedar blocks and when they lose their smell I lightly sand them and spray them with this product. This takes several months. As an outside protection, I spray Colton's around all my doors and window frames once a week in the afternoon to keep moths, spiders and other creepy creatures from entering my home. It didn't get dirty, but I gently dab or wipe off the excess. For livelier animals I use peppermint oil. The two scents don't clash and my house is relatively bug free. This product is an asset to our home and we are very pleased with its performance.
