This (32 oz Pecard Leather Dressing) is a great product to use on almost any finished leather product. I use it most on my leather shoes to hide scuffs and wear and protect from moisture and winter salt. It darkens the leather a bit, but when it's done it looks almost new! I use it every week and can't remember the last time I used nail polish. I used to have to buy a new pair of leather boots for work every year; Just after winter ended when the ice, snow, wear and tear of the season and salt took their toll. Now I can make these shoes work! I stopped using mink oil because I discovered that the natural product attracted mold (when I found a pair of leather boots stored on a green down-covered shelf!). I've been a fan of mink oil for a decade or more; But after a few years of using this product I threw away my mink oil as it just works better and there is no risk of mold. PS: I bought some old Pecard cans online or at vintage stores. I fill them from this large container for the retro style. See pictures.
