100% authentic review - How refreshing, right? (Sad but true) I bought these sneakers in this color and in black. I recently had a condition called Haglund's Deformity that will be with me for the rest of my life unless I have surgery (successful surgery is not guaranteed and recovery is difficult). This condition is extremely painful. This makes wearing shoes unbearable. In any case, due to the nature of this nightmare, slanting your feet isn't just recommended. for many, like me, this is the only bearable way to walk in shoes. I have others that I have recently purchased, they are also inclined, but I find this particular model the most comfortable of all. They are very light and again so comfortable compared to others like them. I have to attach one of those little clear pads that stick to the inside of the boot so my feet don't slide forward and hurt my toes. I actually got an injection in one of my toes from those sneakers before I did because the constant pressure was causing a problem with one of my toenails, but with these little pads in there (a dollar in a dollar tree) it's no longer a problem. The only thing I would like to say is that you need to be a little careful when walking on uneven surfaces as your foot is naturally higher making an ankle sprain more likely than in regular sneakers and shoes. (I tried it the other day). I'd really like to wear regular sneakers and shoes as I have LOTS of them but I'm sooooo glad I found them. Now I can walk my dog without pain, whereas before I could hardly walk with him. Ouch. And they are super cute too! I haven't had to wear them in a long time so I can't comment on that, but so far I'm happy with my needs. I'm hoping I can get some movement in it but I'm not sure because again due to the height there is a lack of ankle support and also the toe problem can come back with so much movement/power.
