Review on 💧 Berkey Light Gravity-Fed Water Filter: Purify your water with 2 Black Berkey Elements by Daniel Murr

We moved to a new apartment near Tampa, Florida and didn't like the taste of the water. We bought this water filter because we used 2.5 gallons of bottled water every other day. We expected it to pay for itself in 10 weeks. That was great! We also wanted something we could use if we had a hurricane. It was easy to assemble and we didn't need any tools. The guide was pretty good. Just a reminder to fill in the filters before installing. If you forget it, all you have to do is take it out, refill it and put it back in. Filling the top chamber is easy, especially if you have a sprayer attached to your kitchen sink. Make sure you wait until most of the water is gone before refilling. There is no seal between the upper and lower chambers. If you overfill it, it will seep between the chambers. It doesn't take up much counter space and the faucet is long enough to hang over the edge of the counter. The hose is easy to use. It can be adjusted to drain large volumes of water by lifting the lever. The seal around the nozzle does not leak. We have chosen not to purchase additional filters. The two included filters will fill the bottom chamber (2.5 gallons?) in a matter of hours. If the filtration process slows down, simply remove the filters, clean the filters with a soft toothbrush, refill and reinsert the filters. It takes about 5 minutes and the filters will work like new again. The water tastes great and we seem to be drinking more water than we used to. We fill it up every day. I can definitely recommend this water filter.
