This phone holder is quick and easy to install. It fits perfectly in my car's cup holder without having to use the extensions that came with it. My problem is that it doesn't fit my iPhone 8 (it's NOT an 8 Plus!), with or without the phone case. My Otterbox with Pop Socket is out of the question. Too bulky. Even if I remove the case, it still doesn't work. It doesn't hold my phone tight enough. My phone can be easily removed with two fingers without loosening the grip mechanism. A small bump in the road will drop the phone. This appears to be a great product. I really wanted to like it, but I'll look at other products because this item isn't a viable option for me.
