Review on Chrome Delta Faucet RP33805 🚰 Horizontal Rod: Enhanced Durability and Sleek Design by Patrick Reid

Not for all Delta toilet faucets

Update: Delta Customer Service has since confirmed that this rod will not work with older Delta drawer assemblies. If your original horizontal stem has a solid ball, you will likely need to purchase a new pop-up assembly (e.g. Delta Faucet RP38958 Pop-Up Drain Assembly, Chrome) to use that horizontal stem. I bought it to use with the widely used Delta single lever toilet faucet. The included horizontal bar fit the old sink, but was too short for the much larger Kohler K-2356-4-0 Archer sink, white, that we just installed. The Delta website led me to believe this rod would work with any Delta toilet faucet. It didn't work for us. No matter how I turned the collar, the stopper would not stay down. A closer look reveals two key differences between this rod and the original: the original ball is solid and this has ribs at the back, and the original ball is slightly larger in diameter. My advice: check the original carefully and prepare to send it back. Next we will try the Brasstech 3251 Raw Brass Pop-Up Lift Bar Extension Set.
