Build quality is good - fit needs some adjustment

I bought this item for my 1989 Ford F-150 SWB pickup - 5.0L, automatic transmission, with factory exhaust manifolds. My factory exhaust system is also fully functional. Build quality is pretty good - maybe not on par with Magnaflow kits on other cars, but for the money - I think it's decent quality. Also, the oxygen sensor insert screws into mine perfectly (some reviews said that was the problem, but not in my case). I had problems with fittings and elbows - the exhaust manifold/pipe assembly seemed to move. hill and over the top to the floorboards of my truck. I kept loosening the screws on the headers to adjust the angle, but it wasn't enough. I ended up having to heat up and increase the bends in the pipes just behind the headers to get the right bend - a bit annoying but not a huge problem for me. For others this can be a problem. Also note that you will need some sort of hot air hose extension for the smog pump system. Where the catalytic converter is located in this system, it is downstream of the stock one. I had to modify the factory hot air wand and make an extension to get it working for me. Again, this isn't a problem for me, but others may want to consider this. All in all a decent setup that needs some improvement to be "straight fit". As for me, I feel like I got my money's worth. 500+ miles on the system now with no issues.
