I have used Nalgene containers in chemistry labs and at home for many years. To be honest, these liquid-tight containers make good portable pots for the guys in deer pens or cabins with no bathrooms when it's wet and cold outside. When knocked over, there is no leakage. Large mouth containers (usually round containers) are not liquid tight. I have been using liter bottles for many years, although in the past I have unsuccessfully searched for 2 liter bottles for late nights out after lots of coffee or tea. When I found them I bought three. I drink from round ones, not square ones. Of course, they are also suitable for other applications. They fit well on shelves without wasting space and are impervious to liquids. They're made of polyethylene, so they can be used with almost any liquid, including oils and solvents, and will last for years.
