Review on Weighted Blanket Queen King Kids by Karen Parker

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The ceiling was ok. If I had known pearls I would not have bought them.

I've been watching the Gravity Blanket for several years and always find it overpriced. I searched thoroughly for other duvets, trying to find the balance between quality and ability to meet my needs and ended up here. I've been using this blanket for about 10 days. The quality of the blanket is ok. The mink cover is soft and appears durable. The ties on the inside of the duvet slipped off once or twice, but that's an easy fix (if a little annoying). In general, the blanket itself makes a robust and well-made impression. But after 3 nights I noticed the beads were dripping down the sides of the duvet. After 5 days they have accumulated almost exclusively in the corners or on my feet (they drip off when raising my knees in bed). I have to punch out the quilt every night before bed and we're talking about a 20 lb quilt. The beds don't hold up and I can't force myself to make the weight as it came. When I read the reviews I thought "It can't be that bad and that's a good price" although if I had known what it was I would have spent the extra money on a duvet that were sewn squares to hold the beads in place. It would be great for kids and relaxing. I like it but it definitely doesn't do what I bought it for.
