Rusts instantly and won't stop

Bought this knife for diving in Destin, Florida. Significant rust was found on the blade after the first water soak and by the second day only about 50% of the titanium coating remained and the blade was rusty and pitted. Corrosion has eroded the edge and the knife is essentially ruined and unusable. I cannot recommend this knife. Carbon steel is not suitable for items that are frequently submerged in water. Any $30 stainless steel knife will outperform this knife. save your money
