Review on Holdwell Ignition TC020 31820 TC02031820 MX5000F by Jeff Islam

I installed this switch first and it worked great but after a short time it stopped working. After taking it out and inspecting it, I found that the inner parts of the switch (the plastic end piece) rotated relative to the body (the metal can). This changed the connections the key makes when turned to different positions. Nothing prevents the interior of the switch from rotating relative to the metal body, such as a bar, plane, or anything else. I corrected the position inside out by turning and the key worked correctly. Having fixed the problem and using an electrical component, I have no plans to go back, but I think the manufacturer should fix the design to prevent the internal rotation from shifting to the external. The switch's internal links rotate relative to the metal body of the case, alternating contacts. Key closes when turned
