I sent this back because it quickly became clear that the hassle of installing and replacing it wasn't worth it. The inner struts rattle a bit, so I expect them to snap out and short out on the road. This of course depends on getting the correct clamp sizes as the manufacturer doesn't list bar sizes or answer customer questions, I found #10 too small and 1/4 too big but I didn't have #12 to try (no previous answers say 12, but that splits the difference). The plastic hole plugs are actually hard plastic, not rubber, and slip out very easily (you'll have to glue them if you install them upside down) and don't fit the box or lid snugly enough to protect it from the elements or road debris. The side panels also protrude significantly, adding a good 1/4 inch to the width, just enough that the box won't fit where you want to mount it.
