Not working as a couple?

I used these in a pair of sconces (sconces) to replace very hot halogen bulbs. Worked fine for a few months but they suddenly went very dim and flickered when first turned on. I tried to switch with unused ones in the box, it didn't help. I replaced one with a halogen bulb. When I did this, an LED lamp worked fine. So now I have a halogen and an LED bulb that work but don't cool or save the energy I was looking for.

Pros
