I have to keep replacing them.
I moved into my house in 2017. A year later the shower faucet wouldn't close so I had to call a plumber and change the cartridge. It's 2021 and I had to replace it AGAIN. This time it was because the hot water didn't get hot from time to time. The sink worked fine so I know it's not a line. And the new cartridge does not turn off immediately. drops for a few minutes. At some point it will stop. But it's really annoying.
