My advice to anyone purchasing this flashlight is to take the time to rewrite the instruction manual so that you can understand it and put the instructions in one order or another to order which is very difficult to follow and their footnotes are for the setup they are referring to, it took 4 days to get this working properly. DIY mode is a bit easier to set up, but it also comes with a number of issues, especially when you get to L7 and L8. No matter your end time in L7, no matter the intensity, the same as the time set in L8 must be set to 00, otherwise the light will stay on all night. Generally, they need to have their manual revised by someone who understands English better, and publish their notes in the order they belong. Additionally, the manual should be available on their website in a printable version with a much larger font to make it easier to follow. You have to press the ng keys quickly and it's very hard to read the fine print. Follow the instructions and press the buttons. If you are too slow it will go back to the beginning and you will have to start over. First, be patient. Adjustment problems: the light works well and seems to be of good quality. One star is only for the user manual. Hope this helps someone out there.
