Super Sapphire 2000 Grit takes polish away from Lansky Ultra Fine 1000 Grit. Bad quality control!
This rock is not the sand described! I bought Super Sapphire to use between my yellow 1000 grit ultra fine and leather belt. When used after yellow, it removes shine and makes the surface duller. You can even feel the metal being sanded, while the 1000 grit feels smooth with use. Super Sapphire grit ranges from Yellow 100 to Blue Fine Hone 600. That means I paid a higher price for a rougher stone than one that's half the price! As I have read others who have similar comments this must be poor quality control on Lanskey.
