Nothing is easier to clone from cuttings than tomatoes. Put them in water or soil and they will take root! Once wet, these balls give off a chemical odor reminiscent of bleach. If tomato cuttings are placed there, they will dry out and die in about 12 hours. Spinach and mustard seeds that should germinate in 3-4 days will not germinate in 2 weeks. This material is cute and unique, but it is not suitable for gardening or houseplants!
