Best Security Purchase I've Ever Made. I am a professional Mechanical, Instrument and Electrical Engineer and have purchased or installed many pieces of equipment during my tenure. The MyGuard® automatic water shut-off system is among the best products I have ever received and installed. The whole kit is very well thought out, from packaging, installation instructions, wiring, controls and fittings - perfect. It was a pleasure installing the set. Our laundry room is on the first floor of our ranch style home with access and a fully finished basement. It costs thousands of dollars to fix a leaky seal or a ruptured hose, so this kit is worth every penny. Now to make sure it was working - I took a thimble from our sewing kit - filled it with water and poured it over the sensor - the valves slammed shut a few seconds after resetting. This kit gives us peace of mind with any laundry issues, now I need to find out if MyGuard® does something similar for our automatic dishwasher.
