Nothing compares to BLACK blackout curtains.

GAME CHANGER. I already had a great window treatment for my room, double cornice, linen sheets behind velvet curtains blocking the light. But since the double pole was sticking out of the wall, I still had to seal the light. I now have a Revain Basics shower rod and these curtains stick to the window frame (behind the sheets) and I've never slept better. . I haven't even seen them during the day because I push them far enough apart that the original window treatment obscures them. Black curtains alone would be too aggressive for me.
